One Evening at Social Kulture – Explore With Me

Must Try

The buzz around this new food joint was quite evident on social media. When I flipped through Instagram stories, it was all I could see. The visual experience had already given me an insight of the vibrant and colorful aesthetics of this new outlet but I had to check this place out for myself. So I manage to push myself out of the house (the lockdown feeling still lingers), for an evening with my friends at this animated and high-spirited place that recently stepped into the culinary game.

The ambience of Social Kulture absolutely lived up to my expectations. This place is fun, bright and lively in every sense. I would recommend visiting Social Kulture for dinner if you really want to enjoy the décor and the vibe of the place.

Let’s talk about Food

For starters, we ordered Singapore Chilli Baby Corn, a preparation which was served in tangy spicy sauce. I would probably give this a try again. Another one on the table called Lat Mai Kai is a fried chicken dish tossed in ginger and garlic sauce. We also ordered Steamed Chicken Dimsums which was served with two lip-smacking accompaniments. The variety on the menu is vast and you have a lot of options to choose from.

Pizza is something that can never fail you. We went ahead with Chicken Exotica, a non vegetarian pizza garnished with green chilli, onion, brown garlic with spicy chicken chunks. If you are a vegetarian, you should go for The Green City. It is loaded with an assortment of vegetables and the cheese will keep your mouth lingering for more. It was a fresh delight.

For desserts, we made up our mind for the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake and the Classic Italian Tiramisu. It wasn’t the most pleasing experience. I might have tried better Tiramisu and Cheesecake elsewhere. So, you can definitely pass.

The menu consists of mocktails with names so fancy that you’ll spend a solid 10 minutes deciding about it. We ordered five varieties and about 3/5 of them were satisfactory in taste while two of them were not so good.

Where to improve

All in all, the dinner went around Rs. 800 per person and there were five of us.

Social Kulture is a decent experience. The service is good but we were expecting the food to taste a little better. Some of them were satisfactory, others not so good. Somehow we missed the surprise factor.
